 Having had the chance to experience a second summer in Andalucía this autumn, I know I should not complain. But after only three days back in the colder part of Europe, I already miss the sun and the sea. Fortunately there are summer holiday presents, which help us remind the wonderful times we had. My summer holiday presents are these three pairs of earrings. I just have to look at them and I think of the elegant flamenco dancers, the passionate music and the electrifying atmosphere.

And above all these earrings can give the most simple outfit that sparkling touch!!!

For a lovely golden sunny autumn day I decided to add some gold to my office outfit yesterday. This jumper was the perfect choice. The basic black colour gives it that necessary elegance you need for the office and the golden patches shimmer just enough to make it glamorous and unique. I also love the wide and easy cut of the jumper which goes very well with the classic slim black pencil skirt.

I love Fridays not just because the weekend lies ahead, but also because it is the most casual day in the office. When I opened my closet Friday morning the above little blazer caught my eye. I bought it a year ago and ever since I loved to look at it but I did not really wear it. So I decided to incorporate it into an outfit. 

Et voilà! This tone in tone ensemble kind of resembles a uniform which incoporates the style of the blazer very well. But at the same time the whole outfit still has a laid back touch to it thanks to the more casual trousers and the shoes.

It was time to dress up for the office today. We had a store opening and as usual EVERYONE was there. Dress-wise that meant a professional, serious & elegant outfit was required. 

I went for classy Black which is always a good choice. In order to give a plain black outfit that special something I like adding a feminine touch and a slim figure. The blazer with its shoulder pads and its slim waist as well as the semi-sheer blouse and the sexy pencil skirt did the job perfectly!!!

Magnify Elegance: Wedding season 2011

Wedding season 2011 is over and my beautiful Jenny Packham evening gown celebrated like crazy!!! The best thing about weddings, besides being part of that special day in the life of two people, is to REALLY dress up. Everytime I wear this particular Jenny Packham dress, I feel like a celebrity walking down the red carpet.

Where did the inspiration come from? Did the sun inspire me to wear these beautiful bright colours? Or did my outfit inspire the sun to shine as if we were in the middle of summer? 

Combined with a plain black turtleneck, a sleek black blazer and some black high heels, this outfit works quite well for the office.

Magnify leisure: The skirt

This is what I wore for London Fashion Weekend. An outfit that totally revolves around the skirt. I just love this skirt!!! Not only because it was a gift from my mum who used to wear it twenty years ago, but also because of its unique soft minty green colour and the way its silk fabric swings when you walk. And watch out for the buttons: they decide how much leg to show.

Trends: London Fashion Weekend AW 2011

As soon as the professional fashion crowd had left the city last Thursday, the public took over Summerset House. At London Fashion Weekend the doors opened for an incredible shopping experience: Established brands as well as exciting newcomers exhibited their AW 2011 collection offering their creative designs at amazingly reduced prices. Pringle of Scotland, Jaeger London, Twenty8Twelve, Lucy in Disguise, Almost Famous London ... just to name a few. A shopping heaven for everyone!!! 

As if those designers would not have been enough inspiration, a runway show was organised to present some interesting brands and their interpretation of AW 2011. My favourite show was Osman!!! With his clear cuts, bright colours and the mixture of materials Osman Yousefzada presented a fun yet strong collection. Especially the leather details are amazing!!!
